This item allows you to enable/disable the HPET (High Precision Event Timer), which produces periodic

interrupts at a much higher resolution than the RTC and may be used to synchronize multimedia streams. HPET

can sometimes introduce system instability, so some users may wish to disable it.

Option: Enabled (default), Disabled

Base Address Select

This allows you to select the memory address range for the HPET.

Options: FED00000h (default), FED01000h, FED02000h, FED03000h

Hardware Monitor

This item allows you to view various self-reported hardware states that include CPU temperature, system

temperature, and CPU voltage.

Please note that at 100°C the accuracy of CPU temperature readings are in the range of -5°C to +10°C. This

deteriorates to -10°C to +15°C at 50°C. The CPU temperature readings saturates at some point below 50°C.

Any CPU reading below 50°C is unreliable, and may only be interpreted as indicating a temperature below

50°C.
